Recover lost attachments on Outlook
We make use of attachments when we need to add something to the email other than just the message. Like most email clients Microsoft Outlook too provides the facility of attaching files to the emails that are sent. Though Outlook does not limit the size of the attachment, your Internet Service Provider (ISP) could impose a restriction on the size of the attachment. However, there is no limitation with respect to the type of file that can be attached. The user can attach various types of files ranging from documents in different formats to media files in various formats except for certain files which Outlook blocks, since they are considered as unsafe.
There are however some scenarios in which the user receives the email but the attachments are either missing or have become corrupted and the data in them inaccessible. There might also be instances when the whole pst file has got corrupted, thereby resulting in loss of emails and attachments. The user might also edit the attachment that he receives without downloading them, and later find that the changes are not visible in the attachment that was edited.
This loss of attachments might be due to various reasons like large attachment file size, corrupted attachment or attachments getting blocked by the Anti-virus software that has been installed on your PC or by a Spam filter. Loss of attachments in any of these forms could prove to be costly, especially if the data involved is important and confidential. In such cases it is always better to make use of a good Outlook repair tool. Repair Outlook pst software lets you repair corrupted pst files, and lets you recover lost/deleted attachments from Outlook. This pst repair tool also lets you recover other Outlook data like folders, journals, contacts etc, with ease.
